Emilie joins us as a Behavior Technician with a B.A. in Psychology from UNC and a strong foundation in supporting children with diverse learning needs. Originally from Union Mills, she was referred to SGH by a current employee and brings valuable experience from previous roles where she worked with children with various learning disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder, using methods similar to ABA. Emilie is passionate about helping children grow and succeed in ways that honor their individual strengths. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, diving into a good book, traveling, and treating herself to a refreshing iced coffee.
