Melinda joins SGCA as a Registered Behavior Technician after relocating from Columbus, Ohio. She was drawn to SGCA because our mission aligns closely with her morals and passions. Before joining us, Melinda worked as a Behavior Technician in Columbus, where she discovered her love for the field. Outside of work, Melinda enjoys spending time with her husband and their pets, her dog, Seven, and her cat, John Jacob Jingleheimer Schmidt (aka Schmidt). She loves whitewater rafting, photography, van life, and traveling with friends. A true creative at heart, Melinda also enjoys crafting of all kinds, from crochet and knitting to cross-stitch and other DIY projects, as well as unwinding with true crime documentaries and caring for her plants.
